Background

Rounders FUN League has been set up by Bridget and Nick of Netball FUN League. They set this up back in 2009 and now have over 200 teams playing every week in venues across Gloucestershire and Evesham. Summer 2016 sees the launch of Rounders FUN League.

I am passionate about social sports and get a real kick out of running Netball FUN League especially re-introducing women back to the sport with our Back to Netball sessions. It’s hard but satisfying work. I still play netball from time to time and help out occasionally with Challengers Netball Club. So looking forward to the launch of Rounders FUN League this summer!

In my spare time (not that I have too much) I like to get out and about with Nick in our caravan accompanied by our dog Hovis. I also love being a little bit “crafty” a bit of sewing, making things etc.

I must admit I never thought I would be involved running a social netball organisation… let alone playing it too. Have to admit it I have grown to love netball, have made some fabulous friends along the way and am proud of what we have achieved since our launch some 7 years ago. Now then… where’s that rounders bat and ball?

I’m a bit of a musician in my spare time. I like to compose and record my own music in my studio (no Abbey Road but it does the trick). Love cooking, especially asian food. Addicted to House of Cards!

Hovis

Hovis is the family pet. Lovely, funny and annoying in equal amounts. He loves nothing more than to go for a walk and on a day when you really don’t need it… refuse to come back, even for the tastiest of treats. Love him though.
